Our approach
Blocking pads only
Athletes do not tackle one another. Not on day one, not on day two, not ever.
How we teach it
01
Position and footwork
No contact
Head position, shoulder placement, hip drive, and approach angles drilled at walking speed. Athletes learn the shape of a correct rep before anything is added to it.
02
Shields and dummies
Hand shields · pop-up dummies
Contact is made against equipment held or set by coaches. Athletes get full technique reps with controlled resistance and immediate correction — and zero risk to another athlete.
03
Finish and land
Crash mats
Finishing mechanics and safe landing practiced onto crash mats, so athletes learn how to complete a rep and get back up without getting hurt.
Questions about readiness?
If you are unsure whether your athlete is ready, ask us. No experience required — and no one gets tackled learning how to tackle.
