Questions

Who is the clinic for?

Youth football players. Each clinic lists its own age or grade range when registration opens, so we can keep every group tight and the instruction quality high. No prior experience is required.

What should my athlete bring?

Cleats or athletic shoes, a water bottle, and comfortable athletic clothing. No helmet or pads needed — we supply all the contact equipment.

How long is a clinic?

Our clinics vary depending on the program. We offer everything from multi-day camps (typically 3 hours per day) to one-day clinics and private training sessions of varying lengths. Contact us for details on upcoming camps, clinics, or private instruction.

Who is Coach Bob?

Coach Bob brings a unique blend of leadership, toughness, and technical expertise to Heads Up Tackling. As a retired U.S. Marine and former rugby player, he has dedicated his life to mastering safe, physical contact while leading with discipline, integrity, and respect. Coach Bob specializes in teaching athletes how to tackle with confidence, proper body position, and safe technique. His hands-on coaching style helps players replace the fear of contact with confidence while developing the muscle memory needed to tackle effectively and safely. His mission is simple: build confident, fundamentally sound athletes who are prepared to play the game the right way—for years to come.

How many athletes are in each clinic?

Spots are limited to ensure quality instruction and reps for every athlete. The exact number is listed on each clinic when registration opens.

What happens if it rains?

Clinics run rain or shine. If conditions become genuinely unsafe, we contact every registered family directly with rescheduling or refund details.

Can I get a refund?

Contact us directly and we will work with you. If Heads Up Tackling cancels a clinic, every registered family is refunded in full automatically.
